A sheep stool is more than a decorative piece. It is a proper seat that fits in any room. Here are ideas for using it around the dining table, coffee table and desk.

At the dining table

When guests arrive, there is often a chair missing. A sheep stool with a seat height of about 47 centimetres fits most dining tables and otherwise stands in the corner as an eye-catcher. Children love it as their own place at the family table. For bar counters and kitchen islands there are our bar stools with a higher seat.

At the coffee table

In front of the sofa, the stool becomes a footrest or an extra seat on games night. A sheepskin stool in a natural colour looks calm, while a colourful sheep stool adds a splash of colour. With a seat pad on the sofa and a lambskin cushion, you get a coherent, warm corner.

At the desk

For short tasks, for reading aloud at a child's desk or as a visitor's stool in the office, a sheep stool is a friendly alternative to a second office chair. The soft fleece invites you to sit down, and the sturdy wooden body carries up to 120 kilograms.

In the hallway and bedroom

In the entrance area the stool helps with putting on shoes and greets guests. At the foot of the bed it serves as a place for blankets and clothes. In the nursery it becomes the favourite spot for reading, and a rocking sheep complements it as a toy.

Tips for combining

  • Materials: fleece goes well with solid wood, linen, wool and stone.
  • Colours: natural white, grey and brown go everywhere. Colourful stools work best as a single accent.
  • Several stools: two or three different animals, for example sheep, mouflon and ibex, make a small herd and plenty to talk about.
