Rocking Sheep

Rocking sheep with real sheepskin

A rocking sheep is a rocking horse in the shape of a sheep: a toy, a cuddly friend and a seat all in one. Our rocking sheep have a solid wooden body, a hand-carved head and a cover of real sheepskin. They rock on wide wooden runners. Each one is unique. For in-stock sheep, you get exactly the sheep you see in the photos.

Why a rocking sheep with real sheepskin?

• Soft and warm: Real sheepskin feels completely different from plush and is naturally breathable.
• Built to be safe: The wide runners give it a secure stance. With normal rocking, the sheep will not tip over.
• Good for development: Rocking helps motor skills, balance and coordination.
• One of a kind: No two fleeces are alike, and every sheep has its own name.
• Built to last: A rocking sheep made of wood and sheepskin lasts for many years and is often passed on to siblings.

A gift that lasts

Whether for a birthday, a christening or Christmas: a rocking sheep is a gift children remember for a long time. On request we gift-wrap it, and a name bell with engraving makes it truly personal.

Frequently asked questions

What age is a rocking sheep suitable for?

Our rocking sheep are designed for children aged 3 and up. Your child should be able to get on and off safely on their own. You will find the dimensions, seat height, load capacity and type of fleece in the details of each rocking sheep.

What should I keep in mind while my child plays?

The rocking sheep is made for sitting and rocking, not for climbing or standing on. Stay close by as an adult while your child is rocking.

How do I care for the sheepskin?

Shake out the fleece and brush it with a sheepskin brush, dab stains straight away with a damp cloth and keep it out of direct sunlight. The wood only needs a dry cloth.

How quickly will the rocking sheep arrive?

Rocking sheep in stock are usually ready to ship within 1 to 3 working days, those made to order within 10 to 15 working days. Shipping is free worldwide.

Prefer a stool?

For children who would rather sit than rock, we have children's stools with a low seat height.
